products used and tips to make a great bathroom redo

2:30pm Spa Retreat

busy single parent Claudine wanted a soothing spa retreat

i wanted to give her a fresh modern space but still keeping it warm

accent wall using resin panels placed over a floating modern vanity adds style!

the simple clean ceramic white vessel sinks

gives it a upscale custom look along with the glass countertop

 'before'

your typical 80's style......

 

 it is a not spa without a fireplace

gas fireplace was way out of budget

i put in a electric wall mounted fireplace!

looks like a mirror when turned off but when turned on

peace and warmth!

i had the odd angled step up removed

added floor tiles to the front of the tub

just a few extra tiles adds a high end look!

the tub and surrounding tiles were in great condition

to save money & i had the entire tub and surround

sprayed by miracle method!

this one was a challenge to design!

low budget means getting creative

we painted water damaged floors

dramatic impact - wall graphics!

i found a recycled wine bottle cork backsplash

i put this cork on a floor in one of my bathtastic! designs

love these - we used the rectangular tiles 

in different finishes for dimension - look at the depth it created

one of my favorites to design

refridgerators are becoming more than just an appliance

enough of stainless - give them style

paint them, get a panel kit

i had the homeowners get a panel ready fridge

we ordered on line resin clear panels

place vinyl decals to the back & then painted the panel

it is now a piece of art instead of a cold hard appliance

think outside the box and have fun!

my design objective was a relaxed-country-style

butcher block counter tops add warmth

soapstone sink adds style, apron front gives it 'old charm'

done right, mixing different textured elements

gives the space character and style - mix of the new with the old

the kitchen is becoming a room with attitude

custom elements that don't brake the bank that make it your own

here are just a few inexpensive, easy DIY projects that you to try in your home

i designed a custom island on wheels 

made out of distressed timer beams, galvanized pipes & a soapstone countertop

look at the floor, i wanted to give it dimension and warmth

slate tile pattern laid with 4 different sizes

the focal point in a room

 doesn't need to be a large area with an output of a lot of cash

above the range is a great place to add interest

self-adhesive metallic tiles!
